SAN ANTONIO — A young child was found near an elementary school in Live Oak Thursday afternoon, according to the city’s police department.
Authorities said officers were contacted around 1:20 p.m., after a child was found near Franz Leadership Academy in the 12300 block of Welcome Drive.
Live Oak PD posted on Facebook about finding the child who is approximately 3 years old. They said they have not been able to locate a parent or guardian, and no one has reported him missing.
Authorities said the child is safe and is currently being cared for while officers work to reunite him with his family.
