Jose Roberto Medina was arrested for allegedly exposing himself to women in Olmos Park and unlawfully entering student apartments near UIW, police say.

SAN ANTONIO — A man accused of exposing himself to women in Olmos Park and unlawfully entering student apartments near a local university has been arrested, according to the Olmos Park Police Department.

The Olmos Park Police said Jose Roberto Medina was taken into custody around 6:22 p.m. on Monday in connection with multiple incidents reported in Olmos Park and on the campus of the University of the Incarnate Word.

According to the Olmos Park PD, Medina is accused of following two women who were out for a run in the neighborhood on April 28. Investigators said he allegedly looked through the living room window of one woman’s home before exposing himself and engaging in a sex act. Police said he ran away when the woman tried to confront him.

Police said a separate witness at the Olmos Park Gardens complex reported seeing Medina following her shortly before he turned his attention to the first victim.

In a related case, officials said the University of the Incarnate Word Police Department reported Medina is accused of entering two student apartments without permission and exposing himself to occupants. Those cases include allegations of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit a felony and voyeurism, according to police.

Olmos Park Police said its detectives worked alongside UIW police and the Texas Rangers to locate and arrest Medina.

Detectives believe additional victims may not have come forward, authorities said. Anyone who believes they may have been victimized or who has information about the case is urged to contact the department’s Criminal Investigations Division at 210-829-3241, ext. 314.

The investigation remains ongoing.
