Man grazed by bullet in West Side apartment shooting, police say

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating after a shooting at a West Side apartment early Wednesday morning.

The shooting happened just after 3 a.m. at an apartment in the 1100 block of Colima Street, not far from Guadalupe Street and near the Alazan-Apache Courts.

According to police, a man, woman and son were in the apartment when someone from outside fired gunshots.

Police said a bullet went through the door and grazed the man in the cheek. The woman and son were not injured.

SAPD said at this time, there is no suspect information or a description of a vehicle.

The victim was taken by ambulance to an area hospital to be checked out. He is expected to recover.

The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department and EMS all responded to the call.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, police said.
