A man in his 30s is critically injured after a parking lot shooting at a motel on I-35. Police are investigating, with witnesses noting a dark SUV fleeing the scene.
SAN ANTONIO — A man was shot in the chest in the parking lot of a motel and was able to run to the front to get help, police said.
The shooting happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday night at the Hallmark Suites and Inn on I-35, just north of Rittiman Road.
The man, who is in his 30s, was shot by someone in the parking lot and is now in critical condition. Witnesses told police they saw a dark-colored SUV take off after the shooting. Police have not made any arrests.
No arrests have yet been made and this shooting is still under investigation.
