LONGVIEW, Texas — A Christmas-themed movie set in and being filmed in the Longview area is scheduled for release next December.
“Porch Pirates” is described as an entertaining adventure that follows three police detectives working to catch a gang of porch pirates stealing packages in East Texas.
Directed by Jeff Hamm and written by Hamm, Justin Chaffee and Jay Dee Walters, “Porch Pirates” is a production of Icthys Films, which also released another Christmas movie set in East Texas, “Grumpy Old Santa.”
