One person dies after vehicle fire spreads to home on southeast side of San Antonio, officials say

Crews were called out around 10:45 a.m. to the 4400 block of Wrangler Run, which is near I-37 south of San Antonio.

SAN ANTONIO — One person has died after fire crews battled a huge house fire that may have spread from a vehicle fire on the southeast side, fire officials say.

Crews were called out around 10:45 a.m. to the 4400 block of Wrangler Run, which is near I-37 south of San Antonio.  

An SAPD spokesperson said fire crews found one person dead inside the house. 

Preliminary reports from the fire department say a vehicle fire spread to the home. Video shows a home completely collapsed due to the flames. 

A KENS 5 crew is on the scene and working to gather more information.
