SAN ANTONIO — Fire officials are investigating the cause of an early morning house fire on the west side.
Firefighters were called to a home on Harefield Drive just before 2:30 a.m. Monday after reports of smoke and flames, according to authorities.
Neighbors told crews that no one lives in the house and that it was boarded up.
Firefighters said the fire started in a second-floor hallway.
Crews were able to quickly knock down the flames.
No injuries were reported, and no cause has been determined.
