Road rage incident leads to stabbing, police say

It happened on the far west side of San Antonio Thursday afternoon.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was stabbed on the far west side of San Antonio in a what police say was a road rage incident.

San Antonio Police responded to the 13300 block of Culebra Road around 11:40 a.m. Thursday for reports of a cutting in progress.

Police a driver got out of his car and confronted another driver he thought was following him, then began to bang on his car window.

The other driver got out of his car and the suspect stabbed him with a knife on the right side of his face. The suspect then drove off with the weapon.

Police do not have a good description of the suspect, who they are still trying to find.

The victim was taken to University Hospital to be treated for hsi injuries.

Police are asking any witnesses that may have video of the incident, to please provide that evidence to them.
