For those in San Antonio looking to travel to the home of Edgar Allan Poe, the stadium that hosts a flock of Ravens, or take a walk around the inner harbor while trying to decide on the best crab joint, you’re in luck.

Spirit Airlines has announced the addition of Baltimore, along with Fort Lauderdale, to its list of nonstop flights from San Antonio International Airport, according to a news release from San Antonio International Airport. Baltimore and the sandy beaches of Fort Lauderdale are just two of the latest additions to nonstop flights on the airline, which added the bright lights of Las Vegas and the place where dreams come true to its destination offerings in November 2022.

The new stops come just in time for spring break, giving vacationers extra options to either soak up the sun in Fort Lauderdale — which plays host to many restaurants, bars, and boutiques, along with picturesque nature trails such as Everglades National Park, one of the country’s largest parks,  — or take flight to Baltimore, which is the home to many museums like the National Aquarium.

Those who choose to travel to Baltimore in hopes of making their way to Washington D.C. just in time for cherry blossom season, can visit several free museums such as the National Museum of African American History and Culture, Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, and the Smithsonian National Zoological Park to see the pandas. While in the nation’s capitol, visitors can walk along the National Mall to see the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial.

Spirit Airlines is showing no signs of stopping their nonstop flights when it adds the home to the stars in May, according to the news release. Those in San Antonio wanting to make Los Angeles a summer destination won’t have to waste any travel time and can spend more hours enjoying a stroll down the Santa Monica Pier, deciding what to do first at Universal Studios Hollywood or Disneyland, or finding their favorite stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
