
A San Antonio resident claimed a $1 million prize from a Texas Lottery scratch-off ticket purchased on the city’s east side.
SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio resident is $1 million richer after claiming a top prize in a Texas Lottery scratch ticket game.
According to the Texas Lottery, the winning ticket was purchased in the Monaco Millionaire scratch ticket game and was worth $1 million. Lottery officials said the winner chose to remain anonymous.
The ticket was sold at Stop and Shop on San Antonio’s East Side.
According to the Texas Lottery, the retailer could qualify for a $10,000 bonus through the agency’s Retailer Bonus Program for selling the winning ticket.
Lottery officials said the prize was the second of four top prizes valued at $1 million available in the Monaco Millionaire game.
The Texas Lottery reported that the game offers more than $72.6 million in total prizes. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.74, including break-even prizes.
The Texas Lottery continues to sell tickets for the game, with two $1 million top prizes still unclaimed.
