SAN ANTONIO — Earth Day is going wild in San Antonio.
San Antonio Zoo is inviting the community to celebrate Earth Day on April 22 with a full day of activities focused on conservation, sustainability and protecting wildlife.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with special programming from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. throughout the zoo.
Guests can explore community partner booths on the Great Lawn, educational stations across zoo grounds, roaming performers, live music and interactive experiences designed to show how small everyday choices can help the planet.
There will also be book readings by Victoria Farias at the Whataburger Theater and a live performance by Austin Forrest.
