Santikos Silverado added to list of theaters offering $4.99 movie deals on Tuesdays

SAN ANTONIO — With triple-digit heat setting in for the summer in San Antonio, families are looking for affordable ways to get out of the house, but into the air conditioning. 

Santikos Silverado can help with that. It’s the latest location in the local theater chain to offer $4.99 movie deals on what they call “Super Tuesdays.”

It joins four other theaters also offering the same deal. Silverado, Casa Blanca, New Braunfels and Westlakes are offering a movie for $4.99  Tuesdays along with some other discounts.

The following foods and drinks are also available for $4.99 each:

• Large Popcorn 

• Large Drink 

• Hotdog 

• Pretzel 

• Pint of Legacy Lager 

• Pint of Mich Ultra 

• Pint of Shiner Bock 

• Glass of CK Mondavi Cab 

• Glass of CK Mondavi Chard 

• Glass of CK Mondavi Merlot 

The deal also includes imitless Virtual Reality at Silverado for only $4.99 on Super Tuesdays and $12 Unlimited Arcade Play all day long. 

“With the kids being home for the summertime, why not ditch the outdoor heat, and instead, enjoy some fun indoors, experiencing a discounted movie inside a luxury auditorium, snagging unlimited popcorn refills and if you’re 21 and up, taking advantage of the discounted locally brewed beer?” said Digital Media Manager Lexi Hazlett.

Santikos Silverado recently reopened back in March after it was extensively renovated.  The location now has added luxury amenities including bowling, a virtual reality experience, a private screening room and an upgraded sports bar.

In addition, the theater added an arcade with more than 40 classic and contemporary games.
