SAPD: 1 taken to hospital after being bit by dog on south side

SAN ANTONIO — One person has been taken to the hospital after police say they were bitten by a dog on the south side.

The San Antonio Police Department were called to the 100 block of Montrose for an incident involving a dog around 3 p.m. Wednesday. Not much is confirmed at this point, but police say one person was bit by a dog and has been taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have not said how old the victim is or the status of the dog.
