SAPD responds to scene of west-side standoff

Details are few as of now, but police are expected to provide an update soon.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are on the scene of a standoff with a “barricaded subject” in the area of Saltillo Street and South Hamilton, though it’s still unclear what sparked the incident. 

Police haven’t identified the person they’re trying to apprehend on the west side, but KENS 5 observed a large law enforcement presence at the scene. Authorities are expected to provide an update soon.
