Search ends for missing 16-year-old girl after she makes safe return home

SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help finding a missing 16-year-old girl who was last seen on Saturday.

Evelyn Santos, 16, is 5’2″ tall, weighs about 108 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair.

She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a black t-shirt, black Crocs, black glasses and carrying a black backpack near the 14400 block of Source Circle on the southeast side of Bexar County around 2 p.m.

Her mother is asking that anyone who has information on her whereabouts to please come forward.

If you have seen Santos, or know where she might be, you are asked to call the BCSO Missing Persons Unit at (210) 335-6000 or email them at missingpersons@bexar.org.

It is a Class A misdemeanor to harbor a runaway and is punishable up to one year in jail and up to a $5,000 fine.
