SAN ANTONIO — A search is underway for a missing teenager in the Medina Valley area after she disappeared Friday.
Bexar County deputies say 16-year-old Arianna Barnard left her home in the 14000 block of Childress Falls and did not return.
Investigators say the teen, who attends Medina Valley High School, was last seen wearing a red hoodie and grey tights.
Authorities also noted that Barnard has a cell phone, but it is currently turned off, limiting their ability to track her whereabouts.
Family members and investigators are increasingly concerned for her safety as the search continues. Deputies are urging anyone who may have seen Barnard or has information about her whereabouts to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at 210-335-6000.
