Silver Alert discontinued for missing 77-year-old man last seen in Windcrest area

A Silver Alert was issued for a 77-year-old man, who went missing early Monday in Windcrest.

SAN ANTONIO — UPDATE: The Silver Alert has been discontinued.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 77-year-old man who was last seen early Monday morning in the Windcrest area, according to police.

The Texas Department of Public Safety issued the alert for the man, who was last seen around 1 a.m. in the 8700 block of Golden Point in northeast San Antonio.

According to the Windcrest Police Department, he is 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes.

Investigators said he was last seen wearing a Navy veteran ball cap, a navy blue pajama shirt, blue jeans and gray shoes.

Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
