Spurs’ Jeremy Sochan added to the 2024 Rising Stars Game at All-Star Weekend

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs‘ Jeremy Sochan is heading to NBA All-Star Weekend 2024.

The NBA announced that Sochan will replace injured Portland Trail Blazers guard Shaedon Sharpe on Team Jalen in the 2024 Panini Rising Stars.  The game will take place on Friday, Feb. 16 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and air live at 9 p.m. ET on TNT and ESPN Radio in the United States.

This marks his second appearance at the event. He also joins teammate Victor Wembanyama who’ll be playing for Team Pau Gasol.

Sochan is currently averaging 11.4 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 29.5 minutes per game. He’s recorded a double-double in three of his last seven games, including 31 points and 14 rebounds against the Trail Blazers on Jan. 26. 

Aside from Sochan and Wembanyama at the Rising Stars game, Dominick Barlow will be playing for the G League “Next: Up” game, and Wembanyama will also be taking part in the Skills Challenge. He’ll be teaming up with past top-picks: Paolo Banchero and Anthony Edwards.
