Spurs’ Tre Jones enjoys a day of gaming with San Antonio at ‘Game at The Rock’

Joining Tre was teammate Sidy Cissoko, and they spent an afternoon gaming with the local community.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio put their best gaming skills to the test on Sunday, heading to Frost Bank Plaza to participate in the “Game at The Rock” event.

Hosted by the San Antonio Spurs, “Game at The Rock” was a free day of gaming and basketball, and guard Tre Jones showed up to test his skills on the controller.

Jones joined gaming influencers SypherPK and Team Liquid as part of the free event where many showed up.

Participants also had chances for a raffle onsite for prizes, and some earned an opportunity to play against Jones and Team Liquid with the competition streamed on the big screen.

And the fun did not stop at the consoles.

Jones and teammate Sidy Cissoko (who also got on the control pad and is an avid gamer) met with fans, signed autographs, and helped those in attendance enjoy a great Sunday afternoon, bringing the local community together for fun.

The day also included fun basketball competitions and skills challenges led by Spurs Sports Academy coaches.

This shows that even in their offseason, the Spurs will make every effort to be a part of the community and make a positive impact.
