SAN ANTONIO — A store clerk was stabbed in the neck at a gas station market on the west side Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at the Bandera Food Market in the 1800 block of Bandera around 10 a.m.
Police said a man walked into the store blaring his music and the store clerk asked him to turn it down. That is when authorities say the suspect stabbed the clerk.
The victim was taken to University Hospital in critical condition and the suspect took off, according to police. He is described as wearing a black sweater and black pants.
Police are reviewing security camera footage to find out more about the suspect. If arrested, he would face aggravated assault charges, among other possible charges.
