CardVault by Tom Brady’s Austin location aims to serve a growing fanbase across the city, including the University of Texas and Austin FC communities.
AUSTIN, Texas — Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady is approaching retirement from the NFL differently than most — working as a broadcaster, becoming a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders and backing a national trading card store brand.
CardVault by Tom Brady, a spot devoted to buying, selling, trading, and grading sports cards and collectibles, has been backed by Brady since 2020 and the business states he has a “personal passion for the hobby.”
The brand is set to open its 15th retail location, and second in Texas, in Austin this week. CardVault’s first Texas store opened in Dallas last October.
The Austin location will open Wednesday, May 27 at 259 W. Third St. Doors open at 10 a.m. The first 25 customers will receive a limited-edition Austin-themed CardVault hat. Attendees can also enter to win a Ricky Williams autographed mini helmet.
Company officials say the Austin location aims to serve a growing fanbase across the city, including the University of Texas and Austin FC communities.
The store will feature a curated selection of single cards, sealed boxes, packs and collectibles from brands including Topps, Panini, Upper Deck, Pokémon and Fanatics Authentic. Customers will be able to buy, sell, trade and submit items for grading on-site, officials said.
The location will also host live events, exclusive product releases, trade nights and interactive experiences for collectors.
The store will be open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
