SAN ANTONIO — An 18-year-old man was shot late Sunday night outside a north side apartment complex, according to police.
The San Antonio Police Department says officers were called around 11:17 p.m. to the Moss Landing Apartments in the 12300 block of Blanco Road.
Investigators say the victim had walked out to his car to grab a drink when a male suspect approached and suddenly began firing shots.
Police say the teen was struck in the shoulder and leg before the suspect fled the scene in a newer-model dark-colored SUV.
The victim was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.
Authorities say no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
San Antonio Fire Department and EMS also responded to the scene.
