
Three teens were hospitalized early Monday after a shooting at a house party in San Antonio’s inner west side, leaving one in critical condition.
SAN ANTONIO — Three teenagers were rushed to the hospital after a shooting at a house party early Monday morning on San Antonio’s inner west side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Police said the shooting happened around 2 a.m. outside a home off the 700 block of South Chupaderas Street near El Paso Street and Torreon Street.
Investigators said two teenage boys and one teenage girl were shot during the incident. All three victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
One of the teenagers suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and back and remains in critical condition, officials said. The other two victims have been stabilized.
Authorities said one of the injured teens initially drove themselves to a nearby hospital before being transferred to University Hospital.
The investigation remains in its early stages and police have released limited information about what led up to the shooting.
Authorities have not identified a suspect and it is unclear whether any arrests have been made.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
