
Authorities say the teen left home with her child and never returned.
CONVERSE, Texas — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenager and her young child.
Deputies say 15-year-old Escarleth Vasquez left her home in the 7000 block of Phoenix Path on May 9 with her 1-year-old son, Alejandro Vasquez, and did not return.
Authorities say the pair was last heard from around 1 p.m. Saturday, and their current whereabouts remain unknown.
Escarleth is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie and gray pants.
Alejandro was last seen wearing all black.
Investigators are urging anyone with information to contact BCSO at 210-335-6000 or email the Missing Persons Unit at missingpersons@bexar.org.
Officials also warned that anyone found hiding or harboring the missing pair could face criminal charges.
