Curtains will be used to block the sun in the World Cup at AT&T Stadium

ARLINGTON, Texas — The curtains that Jerry Jones refuses to use will be in action during the World Cup. Well, for at least one match.

WFAA confirmed with sources that the curtains are set to be deployed for the Japan-Sweden match, which kicks off at 6 p.m. CT on June 25. The other matches being held at Dallas Stadium start at either 3 p.m., noon, 9 p.m., 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. The stadium crew will assess the other situations individually and decide whether curtains need to be utilized for those matches.

This continues the longstanding frustration (mainly Cowboys fans) from locals that the curtains get used for essentially every other event held within Jerry World except for Cowboys games. WFAA even detailed five different instances where the Cowboys were hindered by the sunlight.
