Police in San Antonio are investigating a major crash where a BMW ran a red light, resulting in a rollover that killed a passenger, while others fled the scene.
SAN ANTONIO — A man is dead after a major crash on the northeast side and police say two others in the car fled the scene.
The incident happened just after 2 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Perrin Beitel and Loop 410.
Police say the driver of a white BMW went through a red light at Perrin Beitel and hit a black truck at the intersection. The BMW rolled over in front of a Jim’s parking lot. One passenger, a man in his 20’s died in the crash.
Two other passengers were ok. Police say the driver and another passenger from the BMW left the area.
The driver of the truck is also ok. Police are still investigating.
