Firefighters quickly knocked down the early morning blaze on West Woodlawn Avenue.
SAN ANTONIO — A detached garage caught fire early Wednesday morning near St. Mary’s University on the city’s west side.
According to the San Antonio Fire Department, crews were called around 3:42 a.m. to the 3500 block of West Woodlawn Avenue.
Firefighters arrived to find the detached garage on fire and quickly brought the blaze under control.
Officials say the structure sustained moderate damage.
Investigators determined the fire was accidental and caused by an electrical issue.
No injuries were reported.
San Antonio Police Department also responded to the scene.
