SAN ANTONIO – One girl was killed and another was injured in a drive-by shooting at a house party on the Southwest Side.
San Antonio police said someone in a vehicle opened fire at a house in the 2100 block of S. Callaghan Road just after 2:30 a.m. on Saturday.
One girl was found dead on the front porch of the house, police said. Another girl was shot in the chest, and she was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.
The names and ages of the victims and the motive were not released. Police said there was no description of the vehicle involved in the shooting.
Police said there was a party taking place at the time, and both adults and teenagers were at the house. No one else was injured.
