SEGUIN, Texas — Officials say a road rage shooting leading to a barricaded subject involving children has caused a large police presence in Seguin.
The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office were investigating a shooting that occurred in the 700 block of Seguin-Luling Road around 4 p.m. Monday.
Officials say one person sustained a graze wound to the head. He was found to be conscious and was taken to the hospital. There’s no word on the condition of the victim at this time.
Witnesses tell officials that the victim had followed the suspect and his wife from San Antonio to the suspect’s home in the 700 block of Old Seguin-Luling Road in Seguin.
When the victim arrived, the suspect allegedly shot a firearm multiple times at the vehicle, hitting the victim once.
After the shooting, the suspect dropped his wife off at the home while taking his three children from the location, relocating to the 200 block of East Pine Street.
GCSO now says that the suspect is currently barricaded in the Pine Street home with the three children.
