Investigators say suspects fled the scene in a vehicle after the overnight shooting.
SAN ANTONIO — A man was hospitalized after a shooting tied to a family disturbance early Tuesday morning on San Antonio’s southwest side.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were called around 1:16 a.m. to the 5600 block of Ocean Side Street for a reported shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a man in his 30s suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
Police say he was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.
Investigators say a family disturbance in front of the home led up to the shooting. Officers also noted that statements from the victim and witnesses changed multiple times during the investigation.
Authorities say the suspects fled in a vehicle before police arrived.
Detectives are continuing to investigate.
