Man stabbed in hand during robbery outside home, police say

SAN ANTONIO — A 68-year-old man was injured during an aggravated robbery outside his home late Saturday night on the west side of San Antonio.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were called around 10:50 p.m. to the 900 block of South San Augustine for a robbery in progress.

Police say the man had just arrived at his residence when an unknown male approached him at the front gate and demanded money.

When the victim told the suspect he did not have any money, investigators say the suspect stabbed him in the hand before running away.

The victim was treated for his injury. His condition has not been released.

Authorities say no arrests have been made.

The investigation remains active.
