SAN ANTONIO — One child has died and four other people have been hospitalized with serious injuries, including two young children, after a northeast-side shooting that officials called a “targeted attack” carried out by two suspects now on the run.

A suspect has been arrested in connection with an assault where an elderly man was thrown down an escalator at North Star Mall in January.
