
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Central Bexar County, with heavy rain threatening roads and streams, impacting San Antonio traffic.
SAN ANTONIO — The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Central Bexar County in effect until 8:15 a.m. as storms roll through the region.
Thunderstorms are expected to produce heavy rainfall, creating a threat of localized flash flooding impacting creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
There are several spots where water is over the roadway as of 7 a.m., causing dangerous conditions.
The city of San Antonio has closed off a few trouble spots, including West Avenue and Nakoma Drive, near Highway 281. See the closure map below:
