SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are looking for the person responsible for running over a man early Saturday morning in the downtown area.
Police were called to the intersection of E Houston Street and 3rd Street around 3:15 a.m.
According to an incident report, a 35-year-old man was crossing the road at 3rd Street and and Bonham when an unknown vehicle abruptly reversed directly towards the man, striking him. The vehicle then fled the location without providing aid.
Police said the man was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
This is currently being investigated as an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
