Celebrate Mother’s Day with a family outing to the San Antonio Zoo this Sunday, enjoying discounted $8 admission for Bexar County residents during Locals Day.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio families can enjoy the immersive exhibits of the San Antonio Zoo on Mothers Day Sunday, May 10, for discounted admission during its latest Locals Day event.
According to the San Antonio Zoo, Bexar County residents can purchase $8 tickets from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the zoo. The special promotion is part of the zoo’s ongoing Locals Day series, which celebrates different San Antonio City Council districts and Bexar County precincts throughout the year. Sunday’s Locals Day coincides with Mother’s Day, giving residents a chance to celebrate the mothers in their lives without breaking the break.
Visitors can a check out Congo Falls, a two-acre gorilla habitat that teaches conservation and gorilla care. Congo Falls is free with zoo admission.
