Four women arrested in connection with theft spree at Ulta stores across Bexar County

Four women are accused of stealing over $16,000 from Ulta stores in Bexar County and Travis County, according to an arrest affidavit.

SAN ANTONIO — A crime spree has come to an end for four women accused of stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise from Ulta stores.

According to an arrest affidavit, Estrella Beltran, Roxanne Isaac and sisters Virginia and Blanca Maldonado are accused of targeting four Ulta locations in Bexar County and taking more than $16,000 in merchandise.

Investigators say the group concealed items inside purses, yoga pants and even a child’s backpack.

Authorities also allege the women targeted stores in Travis County.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says investigators used surveillance video and facial recognition software, comparing images to driver’s license records, to identify the suspects.

DPS says the arrests were part of a larger crackdown on organized retail theft.
