A man is behind bars nearly a month after police say he shot another man during a road rage incident on the city’s southwest side, according to an arrest affidavit.
SAN ANTONIO — Nearly a month after a road rage confrontation ended in gunfire, the accused shooter is now behind bars.
Police say the incident happened April 13 on Running Horse Street near Five Palms and Old Pearsall.
According to investigators, 24-year-old Sebastian Rodriguez became upset after a woman backed out of her driveway while he was driving down the street.
The arrest warrant states Rodriguez stopped his truck, got out and grabbed the woman’s cellphone as she attempted to take a picture of his vehicle.
Police say a neighbor stepped in to help, leading to an argument between Rodriguez and the 37-year-old man.
Investigators say Rodriguez then pulled out a gun, shot the neighbor and fled the scene.
Authorities say witnesses and photographs taken at the scene helped identify Rodriguez as the suspect.
The victim is recovering from his injuries.
