Indianapolis Colts planting trees in Indy for every touchdown scored last season

The goal of the program is to help neighborhoods and communities, and the people who live in them, to be safe, healthy and engaged.

INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Colts players are joining volunteers this week to help out with a little landscaping in downtown Indianapolis.

The team announced it will be planting a tree along Fall Creek Parkway for every touchdown scored in the 2023-2024 NFL season as a part of the “Touchdown for Trees” program.

The goal of the program is to help neighborhoods and communities, and the people who live in them, to be safe, healthy and engaged.

Trees are expected to start being planted around 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 23.
