
Investigators say the victim was shot as he got out of a vehicle early Saturday morning.
SAN ANTONIO — A man is in critical condition after a shooting on the southeast side of San Antonio early Sunday morning.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were notified after the 22-year-old victim arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds.
Police say the shooting happened around 1:53 a.m. in the 3100 block of Southcross Boulevard.
Investigators were told the man was getting out of a vehicle when gunfire erupted, striking both the victim and the vehicle.
A witness told officers they saw a dark-colored Dodge Charger speeding away from the scene immediately after the shooting.
No suspect information has been released.
The victim remained in critical condition at last check, and detectives continue to investigate.
