Officers say it’s unclear whether the gunshot wound was self-inflicted.
SAN ANTONIO — A late-night shooting on the city’s west side has left a man in critical condition.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were called around 11:22 p.m. to the 900 block of Delgado Street near Sabinal Street for reports of a shooting.
When crews arrived, they found an adult man with a gunshot wound to the chest.
He was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.
Investigators say it is still unclear whether the shooting was self-inflicted.
Detectives are continuing to look into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
San Antonio Fire Department and EMS also responded to the scene.
