Police say the rider lost control while attempting to take the Basse Road exit.
SAN ANTONIO — A 21-year-old motorcyclist was hospitalized with critical injuries after a crash on San Antonio’s north side Saturday afternoon.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were called around 2:53 p.m. to the 6800 block of U.S. Highway 281 northbound.
Investigators say the rider was traveling northbound and attempting to take the West Basse Road exit when he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a guardrail.
The man was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
