SAN ANTONIO — A woman has been arrested after a stabbing left a 66-year-old man with life-threatening injuries early Sunday morning on San Antonio’s south side.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were called around 3:10 a.m. to the 1200 block of Art Wall Way for a cutting in progress.
Investigators say the victim was involved in a physical altercation with another person when a 48-year-old woman stepped in and stabbed him with a sharp object.
The man was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
Police arrested the woman on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing.
